Steven Edward Woodgeard
On June 19, 2021, Heaven gained another angel as Steven Edward Woodgeard, 53, of Kingston, went to be with the Lord at Adena Medical Center after a courageous battle with COPD. Steven was born on November 18, 1967, in Logan, the son of the late James Edward Woodgeard and Juanita (Doug) Harper, who survives.
Steven is also survived by his children, Dakota Woodgeard (Kendia Young) and Sierra Bauer; three step-children; grandchildren, Amiyah, Dakota, McKenna, Tessa, and Amelia; seven step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, James (Janet) Woodgeard, Carol (Tom) Chaney, and Kevin “Kogie” Woodgeard; step-siblings, Anissa “Punkie” Reffitt, Cheryle Ashmore, Brandy Barber, and Danyel Anderson; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.
Steven was a 1986 graduate of Logan Elm High School and Pickaway Ross Vocational School. He was an avid car enthusiast and will be remembered for his kind soul and polite and loving nature. Due to his struggle with COPD, Steven was passionate about educating others about the dangers of smoking and encouraged others to quit.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 22 from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
