Sarah Elizabeth Thomas

    Sarah Elizabeth Thomas, 27, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2021 as a result of a vehicle accident. She was born on July 1, 1993, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Thomas Bret Griggs and Cary Bower, who survives. On March 12, 2010, she was given with love to Gregory and Jodi Thomas for legal adoption where she filled their lives with love, laughter, and sass.

   Sarah is also survived by her beloved children, Olivia, Aiden James “AJ,” Jaycee, and Finley; and brothers and sisters, Stephanie Compton, Anthony Hostetter, Amanda Allen, Skysea Thomas, and Dayland Thomas. She was blessed with many friends but none dearer than Angiee Thoroughman, Kristin Tate, Shanoah Coburn-Cash, Sarah Stephens, and with the most constant and faithful of all being Harley Yeager, who will forever hold our heart and our HAND. Her beloved dog, Jax, was always with her.

   Sarah was a graduate of Huntington High School and Pickaway Ross JVS. She loved the outdoors, animals (especially horses), gardening, and talking as loud as possible so she knew everyone was listening. She was a beautiful artist who loved to draw. Her brush strokes will forever color our lives.   

    Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Ronald Robinson and, Sarah's grandfather, Minister Ralph Cyrus officiating.
