Robert E. Gray
Robert E. Gray, 84, of Kingston, was called to Heaven on November 16, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center after a long battle with kidney problems. He was born on December 17, 1937, in Adelphi, the only child of the late Orville and Nellie (Hixson) Gray. On June 20, 1959, he united in marriage with his loving wife, Doris (Arledge) Gray, who preceded him in death on October 11, 2007.
Robert is survived by their two sons, Mark Gray and Matt Gray; special cousin, Clarence (Mary Ellen) Gray; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.
Robert was a 1956 graduate of Southeastern High School and retired from Mead Paper Corporation after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Crouse Chapel United Methodist Church. Robert had a passion for cars and was a “Mopar man” all of his life. He was a member of the National DeSoto Club, member of the Buckeye DeSoto Club and was the President of the Fairfield County Mopar Club.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Greg Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston.
