Randall Craig Davis

    Randall Craig Davis, 61, of Chillicothe passed away peacefully on January 26, 2023 surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. He was born on March 29, 1961, in Wilmington, Ohio the son of the late Harold D. Davis and Savannah Hayes. 

    He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Greg Evans and sister-in-law, Bonnie Austin. 

    On March 17, 1990, Randy married the love of his life, Cynthia (Evans) Davis, who survives. He is also survived by his son,  Austin C. Davis and girlfriend, Kaibi Fraley; brother, Ron Davis; in-laws, Pam and Nic Hoffmann, Beth Evans, Tammy Payne and Sue Evans; beloved nephews and nieces, Ben (Ashley) Davis, Blake Hoffmann, Cameron Evans, Jamie (Ashley) Evans, Janice (Andy) Irvin, Tasha Jordan and Maddie Davis; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.    

    Randy was employed with the Pickaway County Sheriffs Department, a 1979 graduate of Wilmington High School, a United States Air Force Veteran, Past Master of the Kingston Masonic Lodge #624, and member of the Free Runners Mason Organization. Randy’s hobbies included riding his Harley's, camping at Shady Trails Campground, golfing, smoking a good brisket or steak, hanging in his Buckeye Room, fishing with his son and spending time with his many close friends that he loved like family. Babe, we will love you and miss you for the rest of our lives. 

    In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Pancreatic Cancer research in Randy’s name.

   Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3 at 12:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Chaplain Ron Reese officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery with military honors provided by the Ross County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 - 8 p.m. at Hill’s with a Masonic Service at 7:00 p.m.and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
