Judy Shermain (Brown) Nungester

    Judy Shermain (Brown) Nungester, 78, of Circleville, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. She was born October 1, 1944, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Carl and Opal (Stapleton) Brown, Sr..

    Judy is survived by her beloved children, Cristina (Joshua) Fausnaugh, of Indiana, Shauna Heeter, of Circleville, Trent Nungester, of Circleville; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Rachel) Brown; sister-in-law, Gleena Brown; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

    Judy was also preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Maia; and siblings, Carl “Butch” Brown Jr., Tracy Brown, Linda Craig, Carol Garrett, and Gleena Boysel.

    Judy graduated from Jackson Township High School Class of 1963. She retired from Circle Building Services and thoroughly enjoyed her work after retirement at Pickaway County Head Start as a bus monitor.

    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Don Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery, Circleville.
