Jon David Sharrett
Jon David Sharrett, 83, of Chillicothe, passed away from an extended illness on April 13, 2022 at Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe. He was born in Springfield on February 4, 1939, the son of the late Harry R. and Anna (Dodd) Sharrett. On March 15, 1986, he married Norma “Nan” Stevens, who survives.
Jon is survived by his children, Jon (Alicia Martinez) Sharrett, Paul (Joy) Sharrett and JoAnna (Sharrett) Jarvis; step-children, Vincent (Karyll) Stevens and Connie (Kevin) Chaney; grandchildren, Juli (Adam) Upton, Amelia Martinez, Nicholas (Michelle) Sharrett, Tiffney (Erick) Burdette, Lena (Jon) Cotnam, Hatler (Ashley) Jarvis, and James Jarvis; step-grandchildren, Josh (Tara) Stevens, Heather (Derek) Willett, Weston Stevens and Don E. “Skeeter” (Jessica) Wells; great-grandchildren, Wesley and Addison Sharrett, Abigail and Skylar Burdette, Donovan Cotnam, and Kailey Jarvis; step-great-grandchildren, Isaac, Isabel, and Carter Stevens, Emma and Grace Willett, Charlie Rae and Lincoln Wells; sibling, Sharon Sharrett and special nephew Amir Hasson and great nephew Dylan Hasson.
Jon was preceded in death by siblings, Merritt Jean Sharrett, Tom Sharrett, Martin Sharrett, Martha (Sharrett) Hohenstein and Ronald Sharrett.
Jon was a 1957 graduate of Pickaway High School. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Meade, Ohio. Jon did construction work and land survey work throughout his life. Jon was kind, loving and always had a smile. If you knew this man you were truly blessed. Jon will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18 at 12:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. David Sayre officiating. Burial will follow in Meade Cemetery.
