Harold Dennis Wright

    Harold Dennis Wright, 83, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022 at Westmoreland Nursing Home. He was born on May 8, 1938, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Henry and Beatrice (Hoylman) Wright.

    Harold is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Paxton) Wright; sons, Jeff Wright and John Wright; grandchildren, Miles (Bryce) Wright, Amanda (Jason) Karr, Aidan Wright, Nicole (Greg) Adkins, Natalie (Jeff) Hill, Jacob Wright and Leah Wright; 10 beloved great-grandchildren; sister, Sherry Schneider; sisters-in-law, Dee Beavers, Linda (Tom) Snyder, and Mary “Doll” Moss; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

    In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his son, Joel Wright, daughter, Julie Stafford; granddaughter, Abby Stafford; and siblings, Billy Joe Wright and Mary Jane King.

   Harold was a 1957 graduate of Chillicothe High School and retired from Mead Paper Corporation as a supervisor after many years of service. He was a member of Logan Elm Masonic Lodge # 624, Kingston, for over 50 years and was a Past Master. He was also a longtime member of Knights Templar of Chillicothe.

    Graveside services with a masonic service will be held on Friday, March 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Hallsville Cemetery, Hallsville, with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating.
