Harold Edward “Eddie” Artrip

    Harold Edward “Eddie” Artrip, 62, of Kingston, entered into Heaven on December 30, 2021 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born on May 20, 1959, in Evanston, Illinois, the son of the late William and Dixie Lee (Springer) Artrip.

    Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Kim (Riffle) Artrip; beloved sons, Jason (Susie) Humphrey, Waylon Artrip, and Ronald (Monica) Artrip; beloved daughters, Aimee (David) Lumbard, Jacqueline Humphrey, Kristina (Jessie) Francis, and Tricia (Brent) Dunlap; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; furbabies, Lucy, Panther, and Maxx; several special nieces and nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

    Eddie was a devoted member of the Jefferson Avenue CCCU and was a valued member of the church’s worship and praise team. He was a gifted musician and guitar player.

    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 4 at 12:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Hill’s.
