David Lee Springfield
David Lee Stringfield, 58, of Kingston, Ohio passed away suddenly on June 21, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 3, 1962, in Wadsworth, Ohio, the son of the late Jerry Stringfield and Verble (Matheny) Stringfield. On September 4, 1982, he was married to his gradeschool soulmate, Mimi Stringfield.
David is survived by his wife, Mimi Stringfield, and three daughters, Tiffany (Nathan) Singer, Kathryn (Tyler) Stringfield, and Amanda Stringfield; mother, Verble Stringfield; two sisters, Vicki (Randy) Cromer and Jennifer (Michael) Barnes; and five grandchildren, Austin, Andrew, Anna, Aubrey and Parker.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Stringfield and his brother, Danny Stringfield.
David retired as a Chief from the U.S. Navy after serving for years and continues to help his fellow veterans present day. He had a deep love of the water, the ocean and a great taste for adventures. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, swimming, and cheering for the Browns and Buckeyes on the weekends. He loved spending time with his family and going to his grandchildrens' sporting events. David loved building and working on projects. David blessed those around him with a beautiful soul, he would be there for anyone in need and would always lend a helping hand.
There will be a Military Services held at Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH the coming weeks. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences can be made on David’s online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com.
