Daniel Lee Seymour

    Daniel Lee Seymour, 70, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2021 at OhioHealth Berger Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on December 15, 1950, in Chillicothe, the son of the late George Beaman and Mary Ellen (Sheets) Seymour. On October 29, 1979, he united in marriage with the love of his life and wife of 42 years, Sandra (Craggs) Seymour, who survives.

    Daniel is also survived by his beloved son, Cody Dunn; grandchildren, Tia Nicole Seymour and Michael Tristin Seymour; sisters-in-law, Jane Seymour, Dorothy Gordon, Barbara (Robert) Stump, and Debbie (Patrick) Laughlin; special nephew, Larry Gene Seymour; nieces, Salina and Sharon; nephews, Chris and Steve Seymour; great nieces, Hannah Seymour, Beth Fairrow, and Maria Cunningham; special friends, Bud, Jerry Kight, Mark Krider, JR Barnes, Josh Kight, Millie Hastings, Ron Hedricks, Jeremy Forcum, John Osborne, Kenny Moss, Ed Hughes, and Chuck Wiley; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

    In addition to his parents, Daniel was predeceased by his son, Danny L. Seymour; brothers, Ray Seymour, Donnie Seymour, Larry Seymour; sister, Joan Seymour; brother-in-law, Lee Gordon; and nieces and nephews, Tracy Mankins, Lennie, George Allen Seymour, and Brian Lozier.

    Daniel was a 1969 graduate of Zane Trace High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and a self-made entrepreneur. Daniel was a beloved husband, best friend, hunting buddy, fishing buddy, life partner, and “Daahling” and “My Precious” to Sandra. He will be missed dearly.

    The family would like to sincerely thank Berger Hospital and all of the nurses, especially Michael, on the ICU floor for their exceptional care.

    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with Pastor Jack Waters officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery, Hallsville.
