Charles E. Danner
Charles E. Danner, 87, of Jamestown, Tennessee, formerly of Laurelville, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024 at his residence with his daughter by his side. He was born on December 12, 1936, in Laurelville, the son of the late Beman E. and Ruby F. (Carroll) Danner.
Charles is survived by his beloved daughter, Theresa Graham, of Jamestown, Tennessee; grandson, Tom (Shawna) Gifford; great-grandchildren, Deanna (Dennis) Nourse, Dustin (Chelsey) Curtis, Cheyenne (Hez) Christmen, and Gilbert Gifford; nine great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Joyce) Danner, Dick (Connie) Danner, Bill Danner, and Rick Danner; sisters, Dorothy (Freeman) Conley, June Tisdale, Garnet (Eddie) Jackson, Sue (Dave) Morrison, Judy Savage, and Vicky Hunt; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.
In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his wife, Rita Danner; grandchildren, Kevin Graham and Gilbert Graham; son-in-law, William Graham; and siblings, Stanley “Butch” Danner and Viola Danner.
Charles worked as a pipeline laborer for CJ Hughes for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Tom Gifford officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Laurelville.
