Charlene Kay (Hettinger) Amerine
Charlene Kay (Hettinger) Amerine, 79, of South Bloomingville, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Charlene was born on June 9, 1942, in Adelphi, the daughter of the late Walter and Blanche (Carney) Hettinger. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rodney W. Amerine, on April 1, 2020.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Shawna (Tony) Diehl, of Londonderry; son, Chad Amerine, of South Bloomingville; grandchildren, Joshua (Brittany) Collins and Ryan (Katie) Slopko; great-grandchild, Preston, Cooper, Emersyn, and Tatum; her beloved dog, Moto; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.
Charlene was a graduate of Centralia High School.
Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
