Brenda Joyce (Richardson) Wolfe
Brenda Joyce (Richardson) Wolfe, 71, of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of Kingston, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 2, 1952, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Henry Richardson and Mary (Sickels) Richardson-Diehl. On August 6, 2008, she was united in marriage with her loving husband, Wendell Wolfe, who survives.
Brenda is also survived by her beloved children, Christy Dixon, Megan (William) Holley, and Shawn Dixon; step-children, Brandy Diehl (Todd Lurty), Jeremy Shane (Jessica) Wolfe, Heather (Adam) Glenn, Krystle (Eric) Barnett, and Derek Wolfe (Kyle Furness); siblings, James (Connie) Richardson and Connie Pool; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; faithful companion, Chloe; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sister, Ginger Kight Cordes.
Brenda attended Chillicothe High School and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Southeastern Business College in Business Management. She retired from the Chillicothe VA Medical Center after many years of service as the manager of the Lancaster Community Based Outpatient Clinic. Brenda was truly passionate about her job and loved working with veterans. She was a devoted and selfless wife and mother who will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Graveside services will immediately follow in Rowland Cemetery, Chillicothe.
