William Robert Simmons

William Robert Simmons, 45, of Chillicothe, passed away on December 4, 2015 at Riverside Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on January 5, 1970 in Gallipolis, Ohio.

William is survived by his wife, Kari (Dyer) Simmons; sons, Joshua (Nicki) Simmons, Tyler (Kristen) Simmons, Matt (Destiny) Simmons, and Ryan Simmons; parents, Al and Virginia Howard; brothers, Harold (Emma) Simmons, Cecil "Bud" (Debbie) Simmons, Dave Simmons and Fred (Lynn) Simmons; sisters, Mary (George) Collins, Rose (Clyde) James, Patty Simmons, Margret Simmons, and Cherie (Mike) Sturgill; grandchildren, Joshua Myles Simmons and Aubrey Simmons; special mother-in-law, Cheryl Deboard; special friend, April Neff; many special nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles; and other special family members and friends.

William was preceded in death by his father, Charles Simmons, and brothers, William E. Simmons and Steve (Simmons) Stephenson.

William was a 1988 graduate of Unioto High School where he enjoyed playing football for several years. He was self-employed as the owner/operator of his own construction company, JTM Construction, for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. William's family remembers him as a man with a huge heart who was willing to help anyone in their time of need. William will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Larry Leasure officiating. Burial will follow at Byers Cemetery.
