Wanda Lee Maynard It is with great sadness that the family of Wanda Lee Maynard, 79, of Chillicothe, announce her passing on January 25, 2013 at Traditions of Chillicothe following a illness. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio to Ellis Lester and Rena Thelma Caudill and graduated from Kingston High School in 1951. She then married Jerry Maynard on June 20, 1953. She is survived by her husband, Jerry A. Maynard; son, James A. Maynard; and daughters, Bonnie (Paul) Cruse, Chillicothe, Kathy (Bill) McCoy, Londonderry, Ohio and Tina (David) Sayre, of Wilmington, Ohio; and sister, Betty Chickey, who presently living in Florida. She treasured her ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She enjoyed attending her Church, Hilltop Mission and greatly loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God created her to be a loving wife and mom, grandma and great grandma. She showed her love for others continuously by always putting others first and nurturing her family by always being there to listen and pray for them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation service on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hill Funeral Home, located at 24 West Ing Street, (turn by fire station), in Kingston, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at the same location on Wednesday, January 30th at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Ault officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
