Virginia Rosalie Pritchard

Virginia Rosalie Pritchard, 87, of Adelphi, passed away unexpectedly on August 11, 2016 at OSU Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Cecil and Lessel (Brokaw) Bode, owners of Bode Auto Sales.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Emery Pritchard.

She is survived by daughters, Deborah Funk (Rick Mettler) and Roxanne (David) Uhrig; grandchildren, DeeJah (James) Haughn, Jada (Timothy) Herring, Brandon (Trina) Uhrig, Hannah Uhrig, Chloe Uhrig, and Derrick Uhrig; great-grandchildren, Nakiah and Austin Haughn, Jaden and Emaline Herring, Daisy and Lily Davidson, Luke Thomas, and Blake Uhrig; and great-great-grandchildren, Izabella and Azlin McClain; sister-in-law, Jerry Garrett, of Lancaster, and special niece, Janet Carroll.

She was a lifelong resident of Adelphi. Virginia was a caretaker to her mother for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family on her deck. She loved her flower gardens, shopping, traveling to North Carolina and Florida, her animals and was an excellent cook. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Randall Rinehart and Rev. Bruce Viar officiating.
