Vicki Lynn (Kerns) Hampp

Vicki Lynn (Kerns) Hampp, 78, of Kingston, passed away on January 6, 2026 at her residence. She was born on April 23, 1947, in Circleville, the daughter of the late Paul W. and Ferne Ann (Dearth) Kerns. She was united in marriage for 55 years with her loving husband, John Edward Hampp, who preceded her in death on September 26, 2019.

Vicki is survived by her beloved son, John Paul (Toni) Hampp; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo (Gary) Brady and Nikki Lynn Hampp (Evan Shaffer); great-grandchildren, Addison Lynn Hampp, Preslie Shaffer, and Lincoln Shaffer; sister, Paula Hildebrand; brother, Brian (Therese) Kerns; sister-in-law, Lou Kerns; lifelong and childhood friend, Myra Yates; and numerous other family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents and husband, Vicki was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Bradford Kerns.

Vicki graduated from Kingston High School Class of 1966. She cherished growing up in Kingston and grew up helping in her family's businesses including RK Whirlaway Skating Rink and Paul and Sons Carry Out. Over the years, she also worked at General Electric, of Circleville, Zane Trace Local Schools, and owned and operated her own successful business, Vicki's Dog Grooming, for several years. Vicki served as the Axillary President and District Officer of AMVETS Post 2256 of Circleville and was a life member. She adored and took great pride in her family. She will be sincerely missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Tony Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston.
