Valerie Lee (Brown) Large-Sargent

Valerie Lee (Brown) Large-Sargent, 69, of Hallsville, entered into Heaven on March 11, 2022 at OSU Medical Center unexpectedly. Valerie was born on June 5, 1952, in Circleville, the daughter of the late Maurice Frederick and Virginia Lou (Roll) Brown.

Valerie is survived by her loving husband, James Sargent; daughter, Shelley VanBuskirk; step-children, Matt (Melissa) Large, Benjamin (Jessica) Sargent, Timothy (Becky) Sargent, Kenneth (Alicia) Sargent, and Davonne (Nathan) Parks; grandchildren,Madilynn (Eric) Grubb and Alivia Stewart; step-grandchildren, Lily and Grace Parks, Sadie, Lucy, and Eliza Sargent, and Anna and Jake Sargent; great-grandchild, Braelyn Grubb; sister, Heidi Brown; father and mother-in-law, Bobby and Esther Sargent; brother-in-law, David Seymour; nieces, Stephanie (Jeff) Rigsby and Maylene Brown; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Valerie was preceded in death by her son, Ryan VanBuskirk; sister, Sherry Seymour; and niece, Candace Seymour.

Valerie was a 1970 graduate of Zane Trace High School and went on to study criminology in college. She worked in the field of social services for many years.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences can be made on Valerie's online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com.
