Urban Adams

Urban Adams, 78, of Circleville, entered into Heaven on July 28, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 24, 1945, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Clyde and Elizabeth Adams. On February 25, 1965, he united in marriage with his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn Sue Adams, who preceded him in death on November 14, 2022.

Urban is survived by his beloved daughter, Beth (Glenn) Arledge; grandson, Tony (Sarah) Arledge; sisters, Sue (Lloyd) Shuttleworth, June Crum, and Barbara (Charles) Knaack; brother, Harold (Vicki) Adams; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents and wife, Urban was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles "Bud", David and Loyd Adams.

Urban was a student at Kingston High School until he left in 1965 to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a building contractor for most of his life and served as a pastor to several churches.

Private graveside services have been held at Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Jay Neff and Dr. Michael Holbrook officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences and floral gifts can be made on Urban's online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com.
