Thelma Jean Moore

Thelma Jean Moore, 56, of Piketon, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 7, 1961, in Ashtabula, to the late Ivan and Sylvia (Hall) Moore. On June 8, 1979, she was united in marriage with her loving husband, Johnny Moore Sr., who survives.

Thelma is also survived by her sons, Sean Moore Sr. (Shelby Jones), of Piketon, Robert Moore Sr., of Piketon, and Johnny (Justina) Moore Jr., of McDowell, Kentucky; grandchildren, Courtney Moore, Jessie Jones, Johnathan Moore, Whittney Moore, Britteny Moore, Corbin Moore, Robert Moore Jr., Zandra Moore, and Ruger Moore; siblings, Carlos, Jimmie, Mike, Clyde, and Iveal Moore, Barbara Mosley, Joyce Forbes, and Debbie Munoz; brother-in-law, Eddie (Linda) Moore; special friends, Von and Susie Conley; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

Thelma was also preceded in death by her grandchildren, Sean Darrell Moore Jr. and Taylor Mae Joe Moore.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Jerry Powers officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi.
