Thelma Norma Jean Hopkins

Thelma Norma Jean Hopkins, 83, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on June 3, 2016 at Westmoreland Place.

She was born on May 21, 1933, to the late Charles Price and Florence (Kness) Walsh.

On Oct. 2, 1948, she married Raymond Hopkins, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her six children, Stanley, Stacey (Kathy), Robert (Sue), Charles, and William (Lora) Hopkins and Rae Jean (Duane) Howard; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grand children; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Carolyn (George) Detty, of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by son, Steven Hopkins, sister and brother in-law, Carl (Dick) and Betty Downs; infant brother, Gerald Price; three grandchildren; daughter in-law, Donna Hopkins; and sister in-law, Geraldine Alexander.

Thelma worked as a nurse's aid for many years. She was loved by all who met her.

F uneral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Jeremy Schinkle officiating . Burial will follow in the Dublin Cemetery.
