Terry Lee Schooley

Terry Lee Schooley, 78, of Circleville, entered into Heaven on June 1, 2025 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on January 1, 1947, in Circleville, the son of the late Edwin Malcolm and Erma Barbara (Greene) Schooley. On June 29, 1968, he was united in marriage with his beloved wife of almost 57 years, Judith Marie (Lowry) Schooley, who survives.

Terry is also survived by his sons, Lee (Cheri) Schooley, of Clyde, OH, and Shane (Kara) Schooley, of Kingston; grandchildren, Tyler Schooley and Ava Schooley; brothers, Robert (Janet) Schooley, of Commercial Point, and Danny (Masako) Schooley, of Powell; mother-in-law, Marie Lowry; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Cindy Schooley; sister, Merry Hall; and father-in-law, Wayne Lowry.

Terry was a 1965 graduate of Teays Valley High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict serving in the Strategic Air Command as an air craft mechanic. Terry was a member of AMVETS Post 2256, of Circleville, and was proud to be a member of the veteran's honor guard. He retired from General Electric, of Circleville, as an electrician after 38 years of service. Terry was fondly known by those close to him as Mr. Wonderful. He was a terrific, family man who did not know a stranger, who would help anyone in need, and could fix literally anything. His memory will carry on with everyone who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with John Geddes officiating. Military honors will be provided by the AMVETS Post 2256. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill's.
