Steven Lynn Newland

Steven Lynn Newland, 64, of Kingston, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 5, 1957, in Bourneville, the son of the late John and Ruth (Kellough) Newland.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Lori (Charles) Newland; daughter, Jeanie Chambers; stepdaughter, Shannon Harrison; grandson, Teddy W. Chambers; brothers, Barry (Tammy) Kellough and Terry Newland; sister, Cathy (William) Hall; a host of great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

Steven attended Liberty Hill Church, of Chillicothe, and was an avid amateur radio operator (call sign N8TUW).

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 22 at 6:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with Pastors Tim Robertson and Donnie Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Hill's. A graveside committal service and burial will take place on Thursday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. in Alton Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
