Shirley Ann Sams

   Shirley Ann Sams, 73, of Kingston, passed away August 19, 2026. She was born February 28, 1953 to the late Robert E. and Phoebe E. (Timmons) Sams. She is survived by brothers, David Sams and John (Judy) Sams and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

   In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Carolyn Sams and several nephews.

   Shirley graduated from Zane Trace High School in 1971. Shirley had a passion for flowers, which she inherited from her mother. She also enjoyed monthly pizza luncheons with her Aunt Mary Lou Coey and friend, Barb Evans, as well as, conversations with life-long friend, Connie Gahm.

   Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2026 at 1:00 pm at HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Jeff Reisinger presiding. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley’s honor to the Colerain Community Chapel (In care of Kellie DeLong, 993 Oak Lane, Kingston, OH 45644).
