Sharon Kay (Stump) Barnhart

Sharon Kay (Stump) Barnhart, 61, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021 unexpectedly at Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 4, 1960, in Logan, the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Hedges) Stump. On August 22, 1992, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Gordon "Barney" Barnhart, who survives.

Sharon had four children, Lance (Tabby) Steele, Ernie (Tia) Cyrus, JJ (Amanda) Cyrus, and Holly Cyrus; and a step-daughter, Michele Barnhart (Gregg). She had endless love for all of her grandchildren, Austen, Alice, Lexis, Gordon, Ernie, Bentley, Weston, Wyatt, Haley, Cassy, Devin, Ava, Myles, Natalie, and Caleb. Sharon had four siblings, Harry (Jenny) Stump, Larry (Corina) Stump, Sally (Doug) Crosby, and Patience (Dale) Elick.

Sharon was a online member of the Pleasant View Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her dogs and traveling with her husband, Barney. The two of them had many adventures over the years.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston, with Pastor John Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Dunkard Hill Cemetery.
