Sandy Lynn (Barnhart) Collier
Sandy Lynn (Barnhart) Collier, 75, of Londonderry, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 17, 2024. She was born to the late Nolan and Opal (Martin) Barnhart on January 18, 1949 in Chillicothe. On August 22, 1970, Sandy united in marriage with her beloved husband, Junior Collier, who survives.
She is also survived by their children, Scott Collier, of Nashville, TN and Stacie (Jayme) Dailey; grandchildren, Maison (Jonathon) Forsythe, Preston Dailey, Parker Dailey, and Jordan Collier; two great-grandchildren, Rhetley and Coralyn Forsythe; sisters, Judith B. (Barnhart) Knecht and Carole (Paul) Frazier; and numerous other special family members, friends and church family whom she cherished.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her two brothers, Willard Barnhart and Nolan (Nonie) Barnhart; and two sisters, Ruth Ann White and Rosemary (Barnhart) Smith.
Sandy was a 1968 graduate of Southeastern High School and was an active member of Real Joy Community Fellowship. Sandy will be remembered as a strong and selfless woman of faith. She loved spending time with her family and she adored her role as mom and grandma. She had a strong relationship with God and led people to His word up until the very end.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 20 at 7:00 p.m. at Real Joy Community Fellowship (1954 Hospital Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601) with Rev. Tony Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
