Samuel Curtis Graves

Samuel Curtis Graves, 83, of Adelphi, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 30, 1934, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Raymond and Edith (Piquenot) Graves.

Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Louise (Francis) Graves; children, Timothy Graves, of Adelphi, Terry (Josh) Graves, of Sydney, and Debbie (Ronald) Morrison, of Laurelville; 13 grandchildren and numerous special great-grandchildren whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Samuel was preceded in death by his children, Steve and Ernie Graves, and Sheila Hiles; siblings, Harold Graves and Helen Karshner; and grandson, Ronnie E. Morrison.

Samuel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery with military honors provided by the Ross County Honor Guard.
