Ruth Queen
Ruth Queen, 99, of Chillicothe, entered into Heaven May 30, 2013 at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born Nov. 3, 1913 in Stliner, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Clara Ross Finley. Ruth worked at the Powder Plant and later at the Shoe Factory.
She was also predeceased by her husband, Fullen Queen; brother, John K. Ross (son of Arla Ross), Sonny and Paul Finley, Frank and infant baby Ross; sisters, Mary Frazier Martha Luck, Rebecca Elkins, and Lena Russell; daughters, Redith Lochbaum, Pauline Congrove, and Edith Walls.
Surviving are the grandchildren, Henry (Ruth) Lochbaum, Fullen Gene (Jane) Lochbaum, Terry (Cathy) Congrove, Jackie Casey, Steve (Judy) Congrove, Kenneth (Cheryl) Walls; seven great grandchildren; Larry (Angie) Lochbaum, Jeremy (Gail) Lochbaum, Michael (Joanie) Lochbaum, Keri (Jamey) Collier, Stephanie (Joe) Oliver, Shanna and Brandi Walls; twelve great-great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Caleb Caron, Morgan and Tyler Oliver, Justice Steroes, Carter and Bailey Lochbaum, Megan, Kelsey and Tyler Lochbaum, Natalie and Alleena Lochbaum.
Funeral services will be Saturday 11 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Mark Clendaniel and Pastor Don Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call at Hill's Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Online registry at hillfhkingston.com.
