Rosemary Joy Brown

Rosemary Joy Brown, 85, of Kingston, passed away on August 8, 2025 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born on August 11, 1939, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Hiram Edward and Madlyn Ruth (Moore) Brown III.

Rosemary is survived by sons, Ron G. (Mary Jo) Sexton, of Circleville, Stacy G. (Lorra) Claggett, of Kingston, and Sean E. (Donna) Cummings, of Kingston; grandchildren, Cody (Kristina) Claggett, Ashley (Stephen) Sterling, Kelton Claggett, Shelbie Joy Cummings, and Taylor Ann Cummings; great-grandchildren, Emma Claggett, Kayson Claggett, and Nora Rose Sterling; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her son, Brett Alan Cummings, and half-brother, Merle E. Sunday Sr..

Rosemary was very proud to be a member of a generational farm family. She has been the longtime owner of her family's third generation farm, the Buster Brown Farm, which was eligible to be a century farm in 2017. She also enjoyed visiting Amish Country and loved horses.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Salem White Church Cemetery (4496 SR 180, Kingston, OH 45644) with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating.
