Rose Marguerite (Henderson) Riddle

Rose Marguerite (Henderson) Riddle, 93, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on February 7, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on December 17, 1931, in Urbana, the daughter of the late Richard and Frances (Jinks) Henderson. On October 28, 1950, she united in marriage with her beloved husband, Billie Wade Riddle, who preceded her in death on January 16, 1984.

Marguerite is survived by her beloved children, Andrea (John) Call, of Waverly, Karyll (Vince) Stevens, of Chillicothe, and Bill (Jamie) Riddle, of Portsmouth; son-in-law, Roger A. Preston; grandchildren, Hunter (Alexis) Preston, Lacy (Brian) Preston-Blair, Gregory Owen "JR" (Angela) Karr, Earl Tanner Liston, Walker Kade Liston, and Weston Alan Kent Stevens; six great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marguerite was preceded in death by her daughter, Tamara Kae Preston; infant son, Alan Kent Riddle; and several siblings.

Marguerite was a graduate of Laurelville High School. She dedicated her life to her children and was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She loved the term "driving Miss Daisy " as she lovingly got her children to all of their extracurricular events throughout their childhood. Her children were honored to be able to reciprocate this loving gesture of "driving Miss Daisy" by fulfilling Marguerite's needs during her later years. She loved to dance and will be greatly missed.

There will be no services or visitation held. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
