Ronald Leroy Montgomery Ronald Leroy Montgomery, age 95, Chillicothe, Ohio entered into Heaven January 23, 2014 peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born July 24, 1918 in New Holland to the late Paul and Iva (Smidley) Montgomery.  He is survived by his wife, Evelyn R (Hill) Montgomery and children, Linda (Dan) Park, Ronald (Sharon) Montgomery, Donald (Irma) Montgomery, Jana (Tony) Britton and Melissa (Dale) Schelling; sister, Francis (Floyd) Postlethwaite.  He was loved deeply by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by brother, Edward Montgomery and son-in-law, Ray E Graves. Ronnie was owner of Ronnie's Appliance Service and a part time farmer. He was awarded Eagle Scout in 1936. He was a 4-H advisor for over 20 years. In 2003, he and his wife were awarded The Friends of 4-H which was special to his heart.  During the years the couple started the Zane Trace Bob Evans Sausage Booth at the Ross County Fair. Ronald served on the Centralia Board of Education. He was a 70 year member of Scioto Lodge. He was a member of Aladdin Shrine, Knights Templar, Scottish Rite, Ross and Pike Shrine Clubs and Honorable Order of Aladdin Kentucky Colonel. Funeral service will be Sunday January 26th at 2:30 at the Hill Funeral Home Kingston with Pastor Shane Browning officiating. Burial will be at White Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Hill's Saturday from 2 pm to 8 pm with a Masonic Service at 8 pm.
