Robert Lee Virgin

Robert Lee Virgin, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2018 at Heartland of Chillicothe surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 19, 1944, in Greenfield, the son of the late John and Monnie (Justice) Virgin. On January 16, 1985, he united in marriage with his loving wife, Judy (Johnson) Virgin, who survives.

Robert is also survived by his sons, Matt Virgin, of Jonesville, Virginia, and Mark (Karen) Virgin, of Chillicothe; siblings, John Virgin, Bonnie Weinrich, and Cathy Eaton; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and numerous special nieces and nephews whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his infant son, Robert Virgin Jr., and siblings, Garry Virgin, Eula Crace, and Phyllis Ely.

Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era and specialized in mortar. He will be remembered for his love of animals.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Rev. Eric Umsted officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery with military honors provided by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may call on Monday from noon until the time of the service at Hill's.
