Richard Pete Danner

Richard Pete Danner, 81, of Laurelville, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025 at Pickaway Manor following an extended illness with his brother, Bob by his side. He was born on August 25, 1944, in Laurelville, the son of the late Beman E. and Ruby F. (Carroll) Danner.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Connie Woodgeard; children, Robert (Laura) Woodgeard, of Laurelville, and Tammy (Terry) Covert, of Seville, Florida; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Joyce) Danner, Bill (Carol) Danner, and Rick Danner; sisters, Dorothy Conley, June Tisdale, Garnet (Eddie) Jackson, Sue (Dave) Morrison, Judy Savage, and Vicky Hunt; many nieces and nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his siblings, Charles E. Danner, Stanley "Butch" Danner and Viola Danner; and two grandchildren.

Richard spent his career working in construction as a pipeline laborer for CJ Hughes. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and classic cars. He will be deeply missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Laurelville.
