Ray Butterbaugh

Ray Butterbaugh, 78, of Ravenna, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 at University Hospital Portage Medical Center, Ravenna, Ohio. He was born on January 3, 1946, in Chillicothe, the son of the late Ray William and Delora (Sparks) Butterbaugh.

Ray is survived by his beloved children, Dee Dee Marchelle Favot, Cindy Rae Butterbaugh, Donna Jean Allred, and Susan Nicole Roosa; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Grace Turley, Albert (Shirley) Butterbaugh, Sadie Butterbaugh, Sarah Elliott, Carolyn Butterbaugh, Marlene (Gary) Gallion, Irene (Vince) Granieri, and Arevena (William) Nirote; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.

In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by his siblings, Iona Butterbaugh, Arthur Butterbaugh, Frank Butterbaugh, Ralph Butterbaugh, and Flora (Dean) Leonard.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Burial will follow in Dunkard Hill Cemetery.
