Ranzie “Randy” Haden Rigsby Jr.
Ranzie “Randy” Haden Rigsby Jr., 70, of Williamsport, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with multiple health issues.He was born on March 30, 1955, in Circleville, the son of the late Ranzie Haden Rigsby Sr. and Mary Margaret (Brungs) Rigsby, who survives. On August 24, 1973, he united in marriage with his beloved wife, Marla Jane (Johnson) Rigsby, who survives.
Randy is also survived by his children, Ranzie Haden (Beth) Rigsby III, of Stoutsville, and Heather Renee (Jason) Foreman, of Williamsport; grandchildren, Seth Rigsby, Alex Rigsby, Andrew Rigsby, Matthew Rigsby, Keith Rigsby, Chase Rigsby (fiancé, Joseclynn), Jadid Foreman (fiancé, Jayden), and Rowan Foreman; great-grandchildren, Lucas Rigsby and Nova Rigsby; brother, Darry (Patty) Rigsby; sister, Pam Chaffin; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished.
Randy was a 1973 graduate of Zane Trace High School. He retired as a crane operator at Buckeye Steel Company, of Columbus, after 40 years of service. Randy was a devoted family man who loved them beyond measure and made spending time with them a priority. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors. He will be greatly missed.
There will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences can be made on Randy’s online guestbook at www.hillfhkingston.com.
