Phyllis Arlene Davis Phyllis Arlene Davis, 66 of Laurelville passed away unexpectedly at her home Aug. 1, 2014.  She was born Aug. 5, 1947 to Melford E. and Dorothy L. Betts Hart.  She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Hunter Davis and sister, Genevieve Stevens. Surviving are children, Ernest (Jerri) Davis, John (Crickett) Davis and Dee (Kevin) Davis; grandchildren, Jonathan Daniel and Erica Davis,, Rita Nicholson, Kasey (Myers) Brubaker and Kaitlyn (Myers) Brown; great grandchildren, Conner, Bralee, Isabell, Anna Marie, and Kaylyn Davis, Allison, Meesha and Riley Cook, Marishika, Jordon and Ethan Nicholson, Josie Brown, Kylissa Varney and son to be expected, Lavender Brubaker; brothers, Mick (Jessie) Hart, Wayne (Bimbo) Hart, Dallas (Kathy) Hart, Dale Hart, Dawn (Vickie) Hart and Randy (Donna) Hart; sisters, Helen "Fannie Hysell and Ersel Hart. Phyllis was a gentle, kind and loving woman who admired her children and grandchildren.  She lived her last several years doing what she loved the most, providing home health services to others that were in need, spending time with her grandchildren and two sisters whom she loved dearly. Phyllis's family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 5th from 4-7 p.m at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston. Cremation will take place following visitation.
