Obituary

Phyllis Marie "Tiny" Campbell

Phyllis Marie "Tiny" Campbell, 85, of Chillicothe, entered into Heaven on November 26, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born on May 6, 1940, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Vernon William and Eloise (Hoppes) Chapman. She was united in marriage with her loving husband, Arnold Campbell, who preceded her in death in 1997.

Tiny was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Tiny is survived by her beloved sons, Wes (Nicole) Harber, Mark Harber, and Derron (Deanna) Harber; grandchildren, Elizabeth Harber, Steven Harber, and Jacob Harber; great-grandchild, Rayleigh Harber; sister-in-law, Judy Chapman; Grammy's little angels and beloved neighbors, Gabriel, Kalia, Acelynn, and Gianna; and numerous other family members and friends whom she cherished. The family will forever treasure her guidance.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tiny was preceded in death by her siblings, Ronald Chapman, Verna Crist, and Rosalie Baughman and we take comfort in knowing she is joyfully reunited with them in Heaven.

Tiny was a 1958 graduate of East Moore High School. Tiny had a way of making the world around her feel softer and more beautiful. Her garden was her happy place with rows of bright flowers she tended with care. When she wasn't in the garden, she was at her kitchen table with a paintbrush or craft supplies spread out in front of her, creating something thoughtful for someone she loved. Her paintings, her handmade gifts, and her flowers weren't just hobbies, they were pieces of her heart. Those who knew her will always remember the simple joy of seeing what she was growing or making next.

The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to her care team at Traditions for their compassion and support during her final days.

Though Tiny will be deeply missed, we rest in the promise that she is now in the presence of her Savior, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13 at 12:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Pastor Ted Holdren officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Hill's. Condolences and floral gifts can be made on Tiny's online tribute wall at www.hillfhkingston.com.
