Peggy Laverne Huff Peggy Laverne Huff, 83, of Chillicothe, fell asleep in death at home after an extended illness on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born December 31, 1929, the daughter of the late Harry L. Ward and Mary R. Avis. She and her predeceased husband of 59 years, Ernest J. Huff had four children, Donna (Thomas) Brock, Ernest J. (Sandy) Huff Jr., Dennis Huff (deceased) and former wife Celeste Huff, and Tammy (Tim, deceased) Miller.  She is survived by her sibling, Beverly Snapp and preceded in death by sister, Doris Belke; and brother, Kenneth Ward. Peggy left behind 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thanks to Mary Lou Miller, Roy Miller, and Elizabeth Garner for contributing to her care as she faced the challenges of her illness.  Thanks as well to the loving group of Hospice Caregivers for their support not only to Peggy but also her family. Peggy was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses and was baptized November 26, 1966.  She now awaits the fulfillment of the promise held so dear, found at John 5: 28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ……" Memorial services will be Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 137 University Dr., Chillicothe.  Services are being provided by Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.
