Paul Ray Jordan
Paul Ray Jordan, 91, of Circleville, passed away on December 28, 2016 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital, Columbus. He was born on June 28, 1925, in Kentucky, the son of the late John and Trinnie (Wilcox) Jordan. On December 20, 1983, he was united in marriage with his loving wife, Agnes M. (Carle) Jordan, who survives.
Paul is also survived by his daughter, Peggy Shoemaker; brother, John Jordan; step-sons, Vince, Dan (Penny), Chris (Lorraine), and Jim (Deana) Redman; 5 grandsons; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Paul was also preceded in death by his brothers, Eskel, George, Harvey, Ora, Edgar, Harry, and Glenn and sisters, Thelma and Ruth.
He proudly served our country in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Kenworth of Chillicothe, was a member of the Yellowbud Church of Christ, and Logan Elm Masonic Lodge # 624, Kingston, for 67 years. Paul also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2 at 11:00 a.m. at the Yellowbud Church of Christ, Yellowbud with Rev. Ray Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Springbank Cemetery with military honors provided by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Yellowbud Church of Christ (170 Yellowbud Rd, Chillicothe, OH 45601).
