Patsy J. (Petty) Simon

Patsy J. (Petty) Simon, of Chillicothe, OH, passed peacefully on April 15, 2025 after a long stay at Logan Elm Health Care. She was born on April 16, 1936 to the late Lloyd and Mildred (Gates) Petty, in Circleville, Ohio.

Patsy is survived by her children, Ray (LaBrenda) Henson, of Trion, GA, Jane (Doug) Cook, of Rockbridge, OH, and Mark L (Elyse) Henson, of Circleville, OH; grandchildren,  Steve Cook, of Circleville, OH, and Karen Cook, of San Diego, CA; brother, David (Vernie) Petty, of Circleville, OH; and numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, and step-great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Simon; sister, Louise Hoover; brother, Lloyd 'Buck" Petty; and step-grandson, Phillip McGill.

Patsy was a hair stylist for many years. Her pre-retirement years she made pizzas at Jerry's Pizza. She loved interacting with friends and family. Her hobbies included bowling, horseshoes, dancing, and cheering for her beloved Cincinnati Reds. She was full of life.  She was generous to all that knew and loved her. She would offer anything and everything to help those in need. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston with Preacher Ray Henson officiating.  Burial will follow at Jackson Township Cemetery, Circleville.  The family will receive friends and family beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at Hill's.
