Orlena Evelyn Miller, 87 of Hallsville left to be with our Lord and Savior peacefully on May 9, 2012. She was born Jan. 27,1925 in Summersville W. VA to Onan and Eunice Moore who proceded her in death. Waiting to meet her at the gates of heaven is her wonderful husband Merle who past away in 1987 and her beloved little dog Bambie. She was also preceded in death by her two son- in- laws Eddie Evans and Tom Lowery, a grandson Greg Evans, and two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her two daughters Bonnie Evans and Linda Lowery; grandchildren, Tammy (Logan) Payne, Pam (Nic) Hoffmann and son Blake, Cyndi (Randy) Davis and son Austin, Beth Evans and son Cameron, Tom (Lori) Lowery and sons Duncan and Aaron, Kim (Randy) Holland and children Zack, Leslie, Brittaney and Jacob, Sue (Bost) Evans; great grandchildren Tasha (Mike) Jordan, Jamie (Jenny) Evans and great great grandson Jayden.She was an avid bowler, and a long time member of the Pythian Sisters Lodge of Adelphi. She enjoyed her family, friends and a good game of cards! We would like to thank the staff at Valley View Alzheimer's Care Center for taking such wonderful care of our Nanny! Funeral Service will be Friday May 11 at 2:30 pm at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Barry Bennett officiating. Friends may call at Hill's from 11:30am up until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Hallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association of Central Ohio.
