Nell Marie Roll
Nell Marie Roll, 95, of Kingston, passed this life Sept. 22, 2014 at Brown Memorial Home.
She was born on April 5, 1919 in Fayette County to the late Clyde S. and Bessie Engle Swift.
She was also predeceased by one infant sister, Mable May.
On Sept. 29, 1939 she married Vemont L. Roll, who preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 1993.
Nell is survived by a son, David Lee Roll and wife, Patricia and daughter, Judith Nell and husband, Monte Hinton; grandsons, Ty D. Hinton and wife, Sandy, Thad D. Hinton (Melissa Numburger) and Franklin Secrest; great grandchildren, Nathan and Tyler VanBuskirk, Drew and Reed Hinton, Victoria and. Broderick Hinton, Kayla Francis and Ryan Numberger; first cousins, Clarabelle Haaf and Mary Engle and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
Nell was the owner-operator of Nell's Beauty Shop in Hallsville for thirty years.
She enjoyed visiting with her friends and neighbors.
She also enjoyed roller skating in her earlier years.
Nell was an avid bowler and loved to go to Senior Citizen's Center to play cards. The family wishes to thank Brown Memorial Home and Heartland Hospice for their excellent care.
Funeral services will be Saturday 11 a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.
Burial will follow in the Leesburg Cemetery.
