Michael O. Chaffin

Michael Orvil Chaffin, 57, of Kingston, died on May 17, 2015 at his home.  He was born on March 29, 1958, to the late Orvil Chaffin and June Truman.

He is survived by his daughter, Chloe, of Fairfield; his mother, June and step-father Paul Truman; brothers, Terry (Nancy), of Chillicothe; Tom (Denise), of Circleville; and Mark, of Chillicothe.  Mike was predeceased by his father, Orvil.

Mike graduated from Zane Trace High School in 1977.  He was a life-long resident of Kingston.  Mike enjoyed mechanical work and welding.  In his younger years, he held several welding certifications and was quite proficient at that craft.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday 2 p.m. at Salem Church Cemetery at Meade.  Services provided by the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston.
