Michael J. Carter On May 6, 2020, Michael J. Carter, 45, of Chillicothe, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Michael was born on November 5, 1974, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, the son of the late Stephen M. Carter and Rhonda (Allen) Skaggs, who survives. Michael is also survived by his son, Christian J. M. Carter, of Chillicothe; maternal grandfather, Edward Allen, of Middlesboro, Kentucky; special aunts, uncles, and cousins; and numerous other special family members and friends whom he cherished. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Alma Allen; and paternal grandparents, Ora and Nellie Carter. Michael dearly loved his son, Christian, and was so proud to be his father. He sincerely enjoyed the times they spent together. Michael had a very kind and generous heart.
