Obituary

Mervil Keeton Mervil Keeton, 76, of Kingston went to be a guest of our Lord Oct. 9, 2012 at Adena. He was born Oct. 29, 1935 the son of the late Emery Keeton and Ina (Jarrell) Keeton. He attended Trinity Lighthouse Church in Chillicothe.  Mervil worked for The Kingston Farmers Exchange Company for over 20 years. He owned and operated the Kingston Shell Station for 10 years and worked for Eaton Construction before his retirement. Mervil was also preceded in death by two sisters, Delena (Alex) Brittain and Lavona (Clinton) Holbrook and daughter Kathy (Mike) Hutchinson. He is survived by his wife, Norma (Jester) Keeton of 58 years; daughter, Connie (Gene) George of Waverly; son, Jason (Rhonda) Keeton of Grove City; grandsons, Joshua Holt of Waverly; Noah Keeton of Frankfort; Dylan Keeton of Grove City; granddaughter, Jailyn Keeton of Grove City; great granddaughter Jenna Holt of Chillicothe; sisters, Roberta (Kenneth) Dehaven of West Liberty, KY.; Charlane (Wayne) Holbrook and Donna (Mark) Hoffman of Circleville; brothers, Alva (Yvonne)Keeton of Circleville; James (Jan) Keeton of Chillicothe, and Larry (Carolyn) Keeton of Circleville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mervil was an avid fisherman and huntsman. He had a love for Blue Grass and Gospel Music. A celebration of life memorial will be held on Saturday Oct. 13, 2012 at the Trinity Lighthouse, 190 Hickory St in Chillicothe, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Willard McCray officiating.  Online registry available at hillfhkingston.com.
