Maxine Evelyn Mosley

Maxine Evelyn Mosley, 82, of Chillicothe, entered into Heaven to meet Jesus and her daughter, Christina Sharp, on October 6, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 21, 1942, in Laurelville, the daughter of the late Merrell and Mary (Richter) Imler.

Maxine is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, David "Bud" Mosley; children, Sandy (Bob) Hooker, David D. Mosley (Ginger Deuley), and Scott (Kathy) Mosley; son-in-law, Jamie Sharp; grandson, Braxton Sharp; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Mosley and Edna Mosley; several other special grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents and daughter, Maxine was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delbert and Maggie Mosley; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Daniels Mosley; siblings, Richard (Mary) Imler and Mable (Wingett) Dillie; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Delbert Mosley Jr., Elbert James Mosley, Donald Mosley, Katheryn (Dick) Riffle, and Georgie Ruth (Ernest) Sowers.

Maxine was a member of the last graduating class of Saltcreek High School in 1960 and retired from Logan Elm Local Schools after serving over 30 years as a school bus driver. She was a devoted member of Laurelville Church of God and was active in the church's women's ministry. She enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her family.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Laurelville Church of God (16457 OH-56, Laurelville, OH 43135) with Pastor Steve Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
