Maxine Marie (Ankrom) Davis

Maxine Marie (Ankrom) Davis, 89, of Chillicothe, beloved mother and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on May 8, 2016 at National Church Residences of Chillicothe. She was born on April 18, 1927, the daughter of the late Emmitt and Ethel (Bush) Ankrom.

She is survived by her son, Paul Davis, and his companion, Jay Sterling; daughter, Susan (Rick) Williams; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, an d her special companion, Paul LeBlanc.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Clifford Davis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Maxine's name to the Crouse Chapel Church or First United Methodist Church's afterschool tutoring program, of Chillicothe.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Crouse Chapel Church with Rev. Martin Denes and Rev. Doug Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Calling hours will be observed on Thursday from 1 until the time of the service at the church. Services are under the direction of the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston.
