Maurice F. Brown

Maurice "Brownie" F. Brown, 88, of Hallsville, passed from this life on March 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.  Maurice was born on March 13, 1926, the son of the late Pearl and Bertha Mauger Brown.  He was also predeceased by his wife, Virginia Lou Roll Brown; daughter, Sherry Brown Seymour; brother, Donald Eugene Brown; and grandchildren, Candace Seymour and Ryan Van Buskirk.

Surviving are daughters, Valerie Brown Large (Fiancé, Jim Sargent) and Heidi Brown (Randy) White; son-in-law, David Seymour; grandchildren, Stephanie Herron (Jeff) Rigsby, Shelly Van Buskirk and Maylene White; and great granddaughters, Madilynn Crosby and Alivia Stewart.

Maurice was a Korean U. S. Marine veteran and retired from the B & O Railroad and the Goodyear Atomic plant.  He attended the First Freewill Baptist Church on Ervin Ave. in Chillicothe.

Graveside services with the Ross County Honor Guard will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Hallsville Cemetery.  Services by the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston
