Mary Elizabeth (Wunsch) Cook

Mary Elizabeth (Wunsch) Cook, 92, of Chillicothe, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021 at Heartland Healthcare and Nursing Center. She was born on November 27, 1928, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Albert and Jessie (Anders) Wunsch.

Mary is survived by her beloved sons, Richard (Carolyn) Lance, of Chillicothe, and James H. "Jamie" (Tina) Cook Jr., of Maine; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine "Jo" Hatton and Kathy (Larry) Clark, both of Chillicothe; brother, Steve (Linda) Wunsch, of Circleville; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Lance and James H. Cook Sr..

Mary retired from the school system in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she served many years in food service. Mary enjoyed playing bingo and will be greatly missed.

There will be no services or visitation held at this time. Burial will take place in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston, at the convenience of the family.
