Mary Audalene (VanFossan) Thomas
Mary Audalene (VanFossan) Thomas, 93 of Laurelville devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cook beyond compare, went to be with her beloved Lord and Savior on January 7, 2012. She was born April 20, 1918 near Laurelville to the late Ralph and Lelia (Ebert) VanFossan. She is also predeceased by her husband, Edward Wayne Thomas; son, Larry Thomas; brothers, Forrest and Leonard VanFossan; and sisters, Ruth Huber and Loretta Hettinger.
Surviving are sons, Keith (Peggy) Thomas and Michial (Nina) Thomas; daughter-in-law, Chick (Larry) Thomas; sister, Virginia Paxton; sister-in-law, Ola VanFossan; grandchildren, Sheri (Tom) Meier, Brent (Linda) Thomas, Kelly (Zeke) Kline, Travis (Nicole) Thomas, Shannon Thomas, Shane (Angie) Thomas, Rustin "Bub" (Kelly) Thomas, Nathaniel (Shana) Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Rosita Rogers, and Amira Scott; 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and beloved dog, Teddy.
Mary retired from General Electric Circleville Lamp plant after 26 years and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church of which she was secretary and treasurer for over 50 years.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 11a.m. at the Hill Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Lynn Summers officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Summit cemetery. Friends may call at Hill's Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m
